Anxious about your project? Try an issues list!

This week, I want to share a very special tool from my resource library, the Issues List. Over time, this is the single tool that has helped me calm my anxiety and worries with a project, and in this video, I explain how to download and use it. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, you can get your own copy of my issues list template right here.

The thing I love most about issues lists is that they get the problems and issues out of your head, and onto paper (or in this case, a spreadsheet). Writing down everything that is going wrong or needs to be managed is a great way to feel like you’ve got your arms around a project. And, if I’m fully honest with you, I don’t have the world’s best memory. I live in a constant state of panic thinking that I probably forgot something. So, the issues list has become one of my best friends. I don’t have to remember anything when I use an issues list, because it’s all right there.

Building the discipline to write things down when they arise is another matter, and I will be exploring that topic more in future blog posts. But for now, I’m delighted to give you a copy of the tool that has made the single biggest difference in keeping me organized, calm and empowered to make progress on my projects. I hope you find it equally helpful!

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Have you tried out my issues list template? How’s it going? Is there anything else you’d like me to discuss or explain? Drop me a comment here (or on the video itself), and I will queue up the answers to your questions in a future post or video!
