I am excited to announce that I will be hosting a workshop on the Life-Changing Magic of Managing up this coming January! I’ve gotten a bunch of DMs and questions from you, dear readers, and it’s inspired me to host an event to bring you all together for a robust group discussion! We will start with time to review each of the 5 strategies, and then move into an open discussion and Q&A around how to make these strategies work for you in the year ahead.
The theme for this workshop is: New Year, New You, New Relationship with Your Boss, and our focus is going to be on applying each of the 5 “magic” strategies to your real-world working relationships.
This workshop is perfect for:
Employees who are new to the job market, or negotiating their first tricky relationship with a manager
New managers who want or need help setting boundaries and encouraging best practices
Anyone who wants to improve their relationship with their boss, their bosses’ boss, or other leaders at their companies
Anyone with questions on how to communicate effectively with leaders in their company or industry.
