Team Goal Tracking: An Easy How-To

I am very excited to introduce the fifth tool in my FREE resource library this week: the team goals tracking template. I developed this tool when I was collaborating on a presentation back in November with my dear friend from middle school, Julie Ha Truong, who also happens to be the founder of Leadership Savvy, a consulting firm that specializes in mission-driven strategy development and coaching. Julie approached me to collaborate on a presentation for new supervisors, and she asked me to bring a practical tool that new managers could use to track and manage goal-setting across their teams.

Enter my Team Goals Tracking Tool. This is a very simple way to write out all the goals within a team, or cross-teams, and provides a mechanism for tracking who is responsible for what pieces of the goal. This is something I wish I had used earlier in my career, as I see how it can bring a lot of transparency to goal-setting and performance management.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Do you have an easy way to track and manage goals within your team and across departments at your company? Have you tried this tool, or a tool like it before? Let me know your thoughts & reactions via the comments or a DM!
